Did you know that Almond Milk is lactose-free, it tastes better than cow milk and it's really easy to make?
Most ready-made almond milk packs that you can buy at the grocery store, contain only 2% almonds so, if you are buying it, make sure to check on the actual ingredients content first. But, if you want to try and make it at home just follow these very easy steps

Ingredients for 1 litre Almond Milk :
2 cups of water in room temperature
2 cups of boiling hot water
2 cups raw almonds
4 tbsp maple syrup or honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
a pinch of salt, nutmeg, cinnamon (if you like it)
How-To Do It:
1. Cover the almonds with water and soak them in room temperature for 8 to 12 hours
2. Drain and discard the soaking water, then rinse the almonds
3. Throw the almonds and 2 cups of water in room temperature in the blender and blend on High speed for about 1-2 minutes
4. Transfer the mixture in a bowl and add 2 cups of boiling hot water. Let it steep for about 10 minutes
5. Set e metal strainer over a large bowl and strain the almonds using the back of a spoon. Extract as much liquid as possible. You can keep the ground almonds for future use
6. Add the vanilla, maple syrup, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon and whisk to combine
7. Keep it in the fridge for 2 to 3 days and stir before use
Enjoy!!
